Bumrah Cleared by MI Physios After Training Session
MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene confirmed on Sunday that Bumrah has been handed over by the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and has completed his sessions at the Centre of Excellence (CoE).
“He’s training today, so he should be available for tomorrow. He arrived last night, and I believe he has had his sessions at the CoE to finalise that. He’s been handed over to our physios. If all goes well, he’ll play,” said Jayawardene.
On Sunday, Bumrah bowled at full throttle in the nets, notably facing off against Rohit Sharma, who too is returning after a knee niggle.
