- Standing at 216 feet (66 meters), it is constructed from 130,000 tonnes of granite, making it one of the tallest monuments of its era, second only to Egypt’s pyramids in height.
- The temple houses a 12-foot-tall emblem of Lord Shiva, covered in gold and adorned with rubies and pearls.
