Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s latest release, Loveyapa, is struggling to gain momentum at the box office. The Advait Chandan directorial started on a slow note and has continued at the same pace on its second day.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned ₹1.50 crore on Saturday, following its ₹1.15 crore opening-day collection. This brings its total domestic box office earnings to ₹2.65 crore in two days.
Loveyapa’s Occupancy Trends in Key Cities
📌 Occupancy for Loveyapa (Hindi version) on Day 2:
✔ Overall occupancy: 14.35%
✔ Highest occupancy: Chennai (56%) from just 9 shows
✔ Other major cities:
- Bengaluru: 25.67%
- Pune: 20.33%
- Mumbai: 20%
While Chennai had the best response, the film failed to attract large audiences in other metros, affecting its overall performance.
Facing Stiff Competition from Badass Ravikumar
📌 Meanwhile, Himesh Reshammiya and Prabhudeva’s action-packed film, Badass Ravikumar, is performing better at the box office.
✔ Day 1 Collection: ₹2.75 crore
✔ Day 2 Collection: ₹2 crore
✔ Total in 2 Days: ₹4.75 crore
Even though Loveyapa received mixed reviews, it is struggling against Badass Ravikumar, which despite being panned by critics, is attracting a larger audience.
What’s Next for Loveyapa?
With no major releases next week, Loveyapa still has a chance to pick up pace if positive word-of-mouth spreads. However, its slow start and lack of strong occupancy figures indicate a tough road ahead.
